A heterosexual couple is calling on the Government to allow anyone to enter a civil partnership, no matter what their sexuality.
Rebecca Steinfeld and Charles Keidan lost a legal challenge in January, after arguing they wanted a civil partnership instead of a marriage.
They are now preparing to go to the High Court next week as they appeal that decision.
Rebecca said they are keen to enter a civil partnership as they feel it focuses on equality.
“Marriage is a very meaningful way for people to express their love and commitment for one another and Charlie and I fully respect that,” she said.
“At the same time, not everyone is comfortable with marriage.”
