Cancer-stricken Shannen Doherty showed her sense of humour by dressing her dog as her for Halloween – complete with a headscarf.

The former Beverly Hills 90210 actress is battling breast cancer and has been documenting her fight on social media, even including photos of her shaving off her long brown hair.

She has now shared an image of her pet pooch on Instagram, with a scarf wrapped around its ears.

She quipped: [email protected] went as me for Halloween!!!”

Shannen herself appeared to be a cowgirl for the spooky holiday, sporting a checked shirt and a wig of long blonde plaits.

The star, 45, revealed that she was fighting breast cancer in August last year, after being diagnosed in March.
