Two lanes of Dublin’s M50 were closed tonight as Dublin City Fire Brigade dealt with a large fire in a container.

It affected Northbound traffic at Junction Nine.

Three units of the fire brigade tackled the blaze which has now been extinguished.

The road has been reopened.
