A man has died after an assault in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí say a man in his 20s was attending a bonfire at St Mark’s housing estate in Clondalkin when he was chased by a number of people across the Neilstown Road into Liscarne Gardens.
He was fatally injured in an incident there at around 3.10am.
The man’s remains are still at the scene. The State Pathologist’s Office has been notified.
There have been no arrests as yet.
Gardaí at Ronanstown are appealing for anyone who was in the general area of St. Marks/Neilstowns Road/Liscarne Gardens between 1am and 3.30am to contact them at Ronanstown Garda Station on 01 6667700, the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any garda station.
