The Irish Cancer Society is encouraging men to talk about their health.

Today is the start of the annual Movember campaign, where men grow moustaches in an effort to raise awareness and money for men’s cancer treatment.

The campaign is specifically focused on raising awareness of prostate cancer.

Mary Cremin is the Care, Advice, Support and Education Nurse in St. James’ Hospital in Dublin: “Anybody from the age of 50 on should be getting a prostate cancer blood test done with their GP and getting their prostate checked as well and we would advice people to do it on an annual basis.
