X Factor’s latest leaver Gifty Louise has hit back at racist online trolls.
Gifty, who was voted out of the ITV singing competition at the weekend after finding herself in the bottom two acts with Four Of Diamonds, has been the victim of a number of vile comments on Twitter.
It seemed to begin before Sunday night’s results show as the singer tweeted that she would not tolerate the abuse.
I tolerate a lot of things, but one thing I won't tolerate is racism. Don't bring that crap anywhere near me. I'm black and proud hunny.

But the trolls still seemed to be targeting her yesterday when she posted another comment about what had been happening.
Wow.... At the amount of racial abuse I'm getting...

Gifty also had to defend herself after some viewers of her interview on Good Morning Britain complained about her looking so cross to have left the competition.
Not going to pretend I'm happy and smile for the beneficial of others. I worked my ass off and I was gutted. I'm allowed to be.

However, not everyone has been so horrible to the 20-year-old – she also thanked fans for their support following the unpopular decision to vote her off.
Honestly the support from you guys has been amazing. Like I'm in tears reading some of your messages 😭😭❤️❤️❤️ love you all
