There was a slight drop in the number of unemployed people last month accord to the Central Statistics Office.

The latest figures show the rate of youth unemployment now stands at 15.1% down from 15.9% in September.

Overall 168,800 people are signing on and the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is at 7.7% for October.

That marks a drop of just over 4,000 on the previous month.
