A man has been shot in west Dublin.
The man, who is aged 42, is in a serious condition in Saint James’ Hospital this morning after the shooting in Ballyfermot.
It happened on Raheen Drive in the Cherry Orchard area just after 9pm last night.
He is in hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
Gardaí have preserved the scene for a forensic examination.
