Metallica is making a comeback with a super-exclusive event as the day fades to black…

The American metal rockers will visit HMV in London’s Oxford Street to meet 200 lucky fans at a midnight signing event, just as their new album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct drops.

Fans have to pre-order the album – which has been eight years in the making – from hmv.com by a minute before midnight on Monday, November 7, to be entered into the draw for one of the 200 tickets.

The actual event, on November 17, will start at about 11.15pm and finish at around 1.30am the next morning. Yep, on a school night.

It will be followed, on the Friday, with yet another exclusive event – an intimate live show at London’s House of Vans, for fans who win tickets via the venue’s website.

So if you’re a hardwired Metallica fan, then, wherever you may roam, don’t forget to visit the band’s website for all the info, because nothing else matters.

Ok, three lyric puns in a sentence was definitely too much. Apologies.

Hardwired…To Self-Destruct is released Friday 18 November on Blackened Recordings.
