
The Late Late Show had an extra special guest last night, in the form of a pre-recorded interview in London with veteran rockstar Bruce Springsteen.
The 17 minute interview with The Boss, which can be watched in full on the RTE player, touched on a number of topics, such as growing up half Irish in America, being raised by his grandmother, his relationship with his father and his often turbulent relationship with himself.
Springsteen look at ease discussing everything in frank and open terms with Ryan Tubridy, who took him through some prominent life events from the musician’s newly released auto-biography ‘Born to Run’.
Here he is talking about his relationship with his father.
As well as having a tough time at home as a young fella, Bruce admited fame wasn’t as blissful as it may have appeared in the 60’s.
Listening to Bruce Springsteen talking about feeling like a fake and the paradox of that emotion is another particularly interesting moment from the interview.
