Beyonce was on hand to support her sister Solange Knowles as she appeared on Saturday Night Live.

The jet-setting superstar took time out from her own busy schedule to join Solange as she performed on the American sketch show at the weekend.

Their mother Tina was also there to see Solange make her SNL debut, and she shared some images from backstage.

Tina also posted a video on Instagram showing her and Queen Bey carrying Solange.

She captioned it: “She’s still our baby. We have been picking her up like this since she was 10 yrs old. On the legendary SNL stage.”

During the show, Solange sang Don’t Touch My Hair and Cranes In The Sky from her album A Seat At The Table.

She tweeted afterwards: “Thank u @nbcsnl for having me, & to all who watched & showed love… ? I had a great time, even through the imperfections & nervousness!”
