Katy Perry has become the latest celebrity to appear with Hillary Clinton in her final push for the US presidency.

The US pop star gave a free performance at Philadelphia’s Mann Centre, arriving in a cape featuring the words “I’m With Madam President”.

Katy took to the stage to the song Nasty and opened with her song Roar, which has become an anthem for Hillary’s campaign and features in the Democrat’s latest video.

Hillary told the crowd: “I want you to say I voted for a better, fairer stronger America.”

Katy added: “Tuesday’s going to be fun, but Wednesday is going to be better.”

She is the latest in a string of celebrities to appear with Hillary in her final frantic days of campaigning ahead of Tuesday’s vote.

Her campaign has hosted a series of free concerts designed to drum up enthusiasm for her bid, particularly among millennials and minority voters.

Beyonce and Jay Z joined Hillary at a a rally and concert in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday. Bon Jovi and R&B singer Ne-Yo rallied voters in North Carolina, while Jennifer Lopez took to the stage in Miami and Steve Wonder performed in Philadelphia.

Republican candidate Donald Trump has claimed he does not need stars to draw thousands to his events.

“I didn’t have to bring J-Lo or Jay Z,” he told a crowded rally in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Friday. “I am here all by myself. Just me. No guitar, no piano, no nothing.”
