Gardaí have seized around €200,000 worth of drugs in a house raid in Dublin.

Officers from the Tallaght Drugs Unit, Detective Unit and the DMR South Task Force carried out a planned search of a house in the Glenshane area of Tallaght at around 10pm last night.

As part of the planned operation, they found cocaine with an estimated street value of €150,000 and heroin with an estimated street value of €50,000 during the search.

They also seized more than €80,000 in cash.

A man in his early 40s was arrested at the scene and is being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
