Republic of Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane welcomed them, saying: “It’s great to have the Dundalk lads here. They’ve done really well and are here on merit.”
John O’Shea will join up with the squad latter but is struggling with a hamstring problem.
Martin O’Neill’s side are preparing for Saturday’s World cup qualifier with Austria in Vienna.
Ireland have started the campaign positively drawing away to Serbia before wins at home to Georgia and away to Moldova.
The boys in Green are second in their qualification group level on points with Serbia and two points ahead of Wales and three ahead of the Austria game.
Speaking after training, Keane said: “Our lads keeping doing well and producing results. We’re looking forward to Saturday.
“It will be a tough game for both teams.”
