Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has described wolfing down “two nipples, an anus, a penis, a beetle and a fermented egg” on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as “disgusting”.

Taking part in her second Bushtucker trial of the series so far, she joined Carol Vorderman as they were served a selection of revolting jungle delicacies by resident camp chef Scary Berry.

After facing a menu of chocolate nip cookies (camel nipples), French knackeroons (turkey testicles), Bum-offee Pie (cow anus) and Sicktoria sponge (vomit fruit), the pair earned nine stars for their camp – each worth a meal.

“I’ve always watched this programme and thought it can’t taste that bad, surely,” said Scarlett. “It can taste that bad and a lot worse! It was disgusting.

“I ate two nipples, an anus, a penis, a beetle and a fermented egg.”

Having previously promised her mother that she wouldn’t eat anything “rude” on the trial, Carol added: “I had turkey macaroons and a whole sheep’s brain.”

But the I’m A Celebrity Big Bush Bake Off wasn’t the only task that proved challenging, as camp mates Joel Dommett and Adam Thomas discovered when they took on the camp’s first load of laundry.

After Ola Jordan and Sam Quek pointed out that they were using the washing-up lake, Joel said: “We were washing in the entirely wrong place, all their clothes were washed in cooking oil.”

But Sam and Ola promised to keep the men’s secret, provided the washed clothes didn’t “smell bad”.

It was a new experience for Adam, who admitted that his partner is usually responsible for the chore back home.

“I don’t normally do the washing back home, the missus does it for me,” he said.

“I’ve not got a clue how to use the washing machine, mind you, we don’t need one here.”

He added that washing other people’s clothes was not a pleasant experience, “especially when Scarlett’s bra popped up”.

The pair were also faced with the task of sending words in morse code back to camp through the night – with the help of mates Jordan Banjo and Wayne Bridge – in a bid to win dinner for the team.

Adam confessed that he was “the most terrified he had ever been” as he and Joel entered the abandoned Bushman’s Lodge – and he struggled to keep his cool as more spiders invaded.

When they returned to camp, Adam said he was a “broken man,” admitting to camp president Larry Lamb: “I cried, Larry. I was a mess.”

And another surprise was in store for the camp mates as they were set to be joined by new additions, radio DJ Danny Baker and TV host Martin Roberts.

They will enter the TV jungle camp on Thursday night, according to reports.

Danny, 59, and Martin, 53, will bring the total number of stars taking part in the series up to 12.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues on Thursday night on ITV at 9pm.
