Taoiseach Enda Kenny has no plans meet with Donald Trump when he travels to the US later this month, writes Elaine Loughlin.

Mr Kenny is due to travel to both the east and west coasts of America, his trip will include events in New York over a number of days.

However, a spokesman for the Taoiseach this afternoon said that he has no intention arranging to meet with the President-Elect at this stage.
