A man is due before Dublin District Court this morning over human trafficking.

The 33-year-old was arrested in the city yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into the trafficking of Polish nationals.

Several female victims have been identified and interviewed by Gardaí – they have also been offered counselling.

This is the third person to face charges since the operation started in 2012.
