I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! viewers have criticised Ant and Dec over a quip about Professor Stephen Hawking.
The presenting duo made the joke after Scarlett Moffatt revealed that she tried to get in touch with the renowned physicist after coming up with her own time travel theory.
Afterwards Ant and Dec pretended to call the Professor on the ITV show, with Ant picking the phone and being greeted by an electronic voice mimicking the 74-year-old.
But some viewers were unimpressed.

But Stephen has other things on his mind – recently warning that Earth’s days are numbered and that humanity will not survive another 1,000 years unless the human race finds another planet to live on.
