The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed Ibrahim Halawa is not among the prisoners pardoned by the Egyptian President.

President Al Sisi pardoned 82 youths.

Dubliner Ibrahim Halawa’s trial has now been delayed 16 times with no evidence yet heard.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said their embassy in Cairo will examine the basis for the pardons.
