A 29-year-old man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery in Dublin.

A man entered a premises on the South Circular Road in Rialto, armed with what was believed to be a hand gun just after 1pm yesterday.

He threatened staff and stole a sum of money.

A 29-year-old man arrested yesterday afternoon is due in court later today.
