Janet Jackson has broken her social media silence to update fans on her pregnancy.
The US singer confirmed in October that she is expecting her first child at the age of 50, but other than that has been staying out of the limelight.
She has now tweeted to tell her followers that she is “doing well”.

The message comes amid online rumours that Janet is due to give birth soon.
The star and her husband Wissam Al Mana were rumoured to be expecting after Janet postponed the second leg of her world tour earlier this year.
She officially announced the news last month, telling US publication People: “We thank God for our blessing.”
Janet also showed off her baby bump in a picture for the magazine.

The singer, who turned 50 in May, married Wissam in 2012.
