Gymnast Claudia Fragapane and AJ have promised they will be back on Strictly with a bang as they prepare a performance packed with “insane lifts”.
The pair will be back on the show this weekend after narrowly surviving the dreaded dance-off on Sunday, winning the judges over with their jive to Hey Mickey and beating Greg Rutherford.
Although she said it “broke her heart” to see a fellow athlete be eliminated from the competition, 19-year-old Claudia told BBC spin-off programme It Takes Two: “I am literally in my element and I don’t really want to come home, because I am loving every minute on here.”

But she revealed she was still feeling a little frustrated with mistakes she made in her dance.
Referring especially to a particular hand move, she said: “Beforehand I nailed it every single time, but for some reason I totally blanked it.”
But her partner said Fragapane had performed like a “true professional”, adding: “No-one at home even noticed, probably.”
On Saturday’s show the pair will perform an Argentine Tango to Justin Timberlake’s Cry Me A River.
AJ teased fans: “The lifts are insane.”
