A portrait by Lucian Freud and artwork by Banksy are among the lots up for grabs when actress Davinia Taylor auctions off the contents of her manor house.

The Hollyoaks star is selling items from the Cheshire property she inherited from her mother in Bonhams’ European Collections sale.

Lots include Freud’s Head Of A Naked Girl, one of a series of naked portraits that highlight the late artist’s intimate style, which is expected to fetch £15,000 to £20,000.

Banksy’s Love Rat could go for as much as £3,500.

Other items going under the hammer in the sale on December 14 include Sir Eduardo Paolozzi’s sculpture The Bronx Sisters, which is expected to fetch £12,000 to £18,000, and a Spanish 18th century table.

The actress is also auctioning items from her former London residence, SuperNova Heights, which she bought from friend and Oasis star Noel Gallagher.

Davinia said her late mother Lynne Murphy “was way ahead of her time and a natural collector with impeccable taste”.

“I have been blessed to have enjoyed her eclectic style throughout my life and still remain inspired by her pieces,” she said.

Charlie Thomas, Bonhams’ head of private collections, said: “With excellent examples of both artwork and furniture on offer, the Chelford Manor collection promises to hold its own alongside Hotel de la Ville and Arcangelo Belli’s Monaco apartment at our forthcoming European Collections sale.”

Bonhams’ European Collections sale will take place on Wednesday, December 14 in Knightsbridge, London.
