Eight flights into and out of Dublin Airport are cancelled again today as part of a 48 hour strike action by Lufthansa pilots.

It is the pilots’ 14th strike since April 2014 – in their row with the German airliner over increased pay.

Some 1,800 flights will again be grounded today, including the Frankfurt and Munich service to and from Dublin.

It is estimated that a total of 100,000passengers worldwide will be affected.
