St Joseph’s-Barrowhouse U21s were crowned champions of Laois last weekend and it’s easy to see why in this video, writes Stephen Barry.

Their high level of fitness and work-rate is displayed from defence to attack as, even well into the second-half, they turn over a Sarsfields attacker and break upfield at pace.

10 precise passes are threaded together and it’s all signed off with an alley-oop-style flick into the net by Adam Campion.

It was done with such speed and skill that the Sarsfields players couldn’t even get close enough to lay a glove on the attackers.

That wrapped up a 2-16 to 0-10 win which sealed a two-in-a-row of county titles for St Joseph’s.
