Eight people are due to appear in court this morning in connection with the sale and supply of controlled substances in the Kilkenny – Carlow Division.
They are due to appear before a special sitting of Carlow District Court.
A further five people, charged as part of an ongoing investigation have been released from Garda custody and are due to appear before the courts at a later date.
A total of 38 people have been arrested and detained across the division as part of ‘Operation Clave’
Drugs worth in excess of €50,000, an air pistol, stun gun and pepper spray have also been seized in a series of planned searches.
