Former West End star Keo Woolford has died at the age of 49.
The actor starred in The King And I opposite Elaine Paige and more recently on television in the remake of Hawaii Five-0.
He died at a hospital in Oahu, Hawaii, on Monday after suffering a stroke three days earlier, his publicist Tracy Larrua confirmed.
Keo portrayed the King of Siam in more than 300 performances of The King And I during a revival of the stage production in the early 2000s.
His run with the show included performances at the London Palladium opposite Paige and later Josie Lawrence as Anna.
The Hawaiian-born actor had a recurring role as Detective James Chang on the TV reboot of Hawaii Five-0 and also appeared on the big screen in 2014′s Godzilla.

His Hawaii Five-0 co-star Daniel Dae Kim paid tribute to Keo, writing on Twitter: “As talented as you were, I will remember you most for your kindness. Thank you for sharing your light with us. Rest In Peace.”
Keo wrote and directed 2013′s The Haumana about the host of a struggling luau show who reconnects with his culture after he takes over a high school hula class for boys.
He had just completed the script for a sequel and acting auditions were due to begin in January, Larrua said.
