
There was an injury stoppage with a difference at the FFA Cup final in Australia between Sydney FC and Melbourne City.
The referee called a halt to play to allow Sydney keeper Daniel Vukovic to lift an injured bird off the field of play.

It didn’t look good for the seagull after he took a direct hit from a ball kicked by defender Sebastian Ryall.

Ouch.
But, after some attention from the medical team on the sideline, he appears to have made a full recovery.
