A man has died and three others injured in a two car collision which occurred on the N72 Fermoy to Ballyhooely Road at 8am this morning.

The man who died was in his early 20’s and was the only occupant of one of the cars.

The driver and two passengers of the 4×4 vehicle have been taken to Cork University Hospital.

The scene has been preserved and Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are on the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
