The FA Cup’s famed third round is fast approaching and, while we all love the competition for pitting minnows against giants, there are some tasty-looking ties involving top clubs.
These are a few to look out for.
So, West Ham’s luck continues to be out with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City paying a visit to the London Stadium, while two teams suffering in the league, Everton and Leicester, will feel plenty is riding on their game.
Preston take on Arsenal, the team who’ve won this competition a joint-record 12 times, while two clubs steeped in FA Cup tradition, Tottenham and Villa, now in separate leagues, are going head-to-head in an intriguing clash.
Finally in our preview, Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, the holders, host Reading and, with the Red Devils not looking involved in the title race, you can expect to see a strong team out at Old Trafford for that one.
