Kym Marsh has said she has been criticised for “moving on too quickly” in her love life, but said people should do what works for them.

The Coronation Street actress – who has been married twice before, to Jack Ryder and Jamie Lomas – spoke out after Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton announced her engagement to Charles Gay after just eight months of dating.

Kym said in her OK! magazine column: “My view is that as long as she’s happy, that’s what counts.

“Nobody knows the ins and outs of anyone else’s relationship.”

The actress went on: “I’ve also been criticised for moving on too quickly in the past but, like most people, I’ve had long-term relationships that haven’t worked out.

“You move on whenever feels right for you.

“I think everyone should follow their heart.”
