South Tipperary General Hospital is the most overcrowded in the country today, according to nurses.

The INMO’s trolley watch report says that 39 patients are on trolleys in the facility’s emergency department and overflow area of wards, while University Hospital Limerick has 36 people waiting.

In all, 451 patients are recorded in the latest report from the INMO.
