US television presenter Jimmy Kimmel is in for a busy 2017.

After he was announced as the host of next year’s Oscars, he said on his ABC late-night show that his wife Molly McNearey is pregnant.

Jimmy mentioned the Oscars gig before adding: “My wife is hosting a baby inside her body.”

The TV star congratulated himself on his big day of announcements, joking, “I’m hosting the Oscars and I had sex.”

The couple already have a two-year-old daughter while Jimmy also has an adult son and daughter from his first marriage.
