Terry Wogan has been posthumously honoured at Áras an Uachtaráin.

He’s one of 11 recipients of the Presidential Distinguished Service Awards for the Irish Abroad.

He died aged 77 after suffering from cancer.

The veteran broadcaster, known for his velvety voice on radio and television, was one of the UK and Ireland’s best known stars.

Other people honoured include Angela Brady, Nora Higgins and Brendan Fay.
