Popstar Kylie Minogue kicked off the X Factor final in style as she was joined by finalists Saara Aalto and Matt Terry on stage.

The Australian singer performed her version of the song Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good) from her Christmas album during the live final being held at Wembley Arena.

The final of the ITV show will see Finnish singer Saara and Bromley waiter Matt go head to head and perform two songs in a bid to be crowned the winner.

Talking to the show’s host, Dermot O’Leary, Kylie congratulated the finalists, and added: “Did you ever imagine you’d be… look at everyone… look at where you are.”

During the Saturday night semi-final, 29-year-old Saara gave a spectacular solo rendition of Everybody Wants To Rule The World and was joined by Adam Lambert to perform a medley of Queen hits.

Meanwhile, Matt sang Jess Glynne’s Take Me Home and teamed up with his mentor Nicole Scherzinger for a rendition of Prince’s hit Purple Rain.
