Music fans can add some big events to their 2017 diaries as shock rock star Alice Cooper and Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers have both announced they will play UK dates next year.
The Poison singer will play his first UK headline show in five years, while Tom and his band will headline Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park in only their second British visit in 18 years.
Tom, who will feature at the London festival on the closing night of July 9, will be joined by Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks and folk group The Lumineers.
Alice’s five November dates, which include one at Wembley Arena, will see him perform on the same bill as bands The Mission and The Tubes.
Free Fallin’ singer Tom will be celebrating his group’s 40th anniversary and joins the fifth British Summer Time line-up, with Kings Of Leon, Green Day, Phil Collins and Justin Bieber already announced.
