X Factor champion Matt Terry has reassured his swooning fans that he and former contestant Freddy Parker are “just friends.”
Speaking to the MailOnline, he commented on the moment he was crowned winner and – some say – appeared to share an elated kiss with Freddy as he rushed on stage to congratulate him.
According to the website, the 24-year-old denied any romance, saying: “Freddy’s like my little brother.

“Relley C, obviously Saara (Aalto), 5 After Midnight are my brothers. I love them all – I just can’t wait for the tour.’
It’s no surprise that Matt doesn’t have time for love right now, as his victory has plunged him into a jam-packed diary of commitments.
His festive single When Christmas Comes Around has already been tipped for number one and his Twitter page shows he has been keeping busy with media appearances.

It would seem he has already had to turn down some big offers, with Yahoo News reporting that he had to duck out of plans to play Peter Pan in a pantomime in Cumbria.
The report says that forward-thinking X Factor bosses had to “buy” Matt out of the contract earlier in the competition.
