Indiependence has announced its headline acts next year’s summer festival and it looks like it’s going to be a blast from the past.
Welsh rock trio, The Manic Street Preachers make their very first appearance at Indiependence having previously headlined the likes of Glastonbury.
Four years since they last headlined INDIE, The Coronas return to a festival. The band’s latest album, The Long Way, has already achieved platinum sales, with a new album out in 2017.
Also announced to play the 12th annual festival are Sigma – and although the name mightn’t be familiar to some, you have to remember this 2015 hit of theirs.
Early Bird Tickets for INDIE16 sold out within 24 hours and fans will be happy to hear that subsequent ticket tiers will remain at 2016 prices – there will be no increase in the price of any INDIE tickets in 2017.
The 3-day camping weekend ticket will set you back €119, with a VIP indie garden upgrade available for €50.
Tickets are available online at www.tickets.ie with a limited amount for sale at Mitchelstown Post Office.
Further Line up announcements will be coming soon, so check out www.indiependencefestival.com and www.facebook.com/indiependencefest for updates and further information.
