Margot Robbie is set to return to her Suicide Squad role for a new movie pulling together some of the best female villains in DC comic history, it has been reported.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the Wolf Of Wall Street star will be bringing back her blood-chilling character Harley Quinn for the Gotham City Sirens screenplay.

Apparently DC has named Harley, girlfriend of the Joker, as it’s most popular female character following the release of the film, kicking off a whole new range of Halloween costumes this year.

According to the report, Suicide Sqaud’s creator David Ayer will return to direct and produce the new movie, with Margot as executive producer.

It’s based on Sirens, the recent DC comic book series focusing on popular female villains including Catwoman and Batman’s Poison Ivy.
