Gardaí in Dublin have carried out a series of raids targeting the Kinahan gang this morning.

A 34-year-old man was arrested as part of the ‘Operation Thistle’ raids in the South Dublin City area.

Officers from Dublin South Central, the Criminal Assests Bureau and Special Detective Unit were all involved.

A large number of financial documents and some drugs were also seized.

The man is being detained at Pearse Street station.
