Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba were the goalscorers for Manchester United last night and the pair look to be good buddies as well as teammates.

Pogba’s opening goal was not without controversy – The France midfielder appeared to be offside as he poked home Ibrahimovic’s knock-down, with the striker seemingly handling Juan Mata’s free-kick into the path of his team-mate.

Ibrahimovic was refreshingly honest when asked about the incident – instead of a flat denial he acknowledged there could have been a touch and said he would have to watch the footage.

And the two had a good chuckle when the Swede was asked to present Pogba with the Man of the Match award.

Not content with statues in his home country, he suggested he would prefer to add the accolade to his own collection.

Playing well together AND getting on like a house on fire – United fans will be feeling pretty good about their star pair right now.
