Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will headline Glastonbury in 2017, according to reports.

After spending the last year on a hiatus, Ed is rumoured to top the bill at Worthy Farm alongside confirmed headliners Radiohead.

The Thinking Out Loud singer took a break from performing and social media during 2016 before returning for an exclusive performance at the Natural History Museum in London last month.

A source told The Sun that Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis was “delighted to get Ed signed up”.

They told the newspaper: “It’s going to be a huge moment for the festival having him up there marking his comeback in front of a giant crowd.”

Ed has previously played the Somerset-based festival, headlining the BBC Introducing and across several other stages.

Radiohead have already been confirmed as one of next year’s headliners before the festival takes a fallow year in 2018.
