This season was never going to live up to the last one for Leicester, and at 2-0 down and with Jamie Vardy red-carded for a dangerous challenge, they were in pretty bad shape against Stoke.
But we all learned not to write the Foxes off last season, and once again Claudio Ranieri’s side showed it’s best not to bet against them.
GOALLLLLLL! It's 2-2! Somehow! DANIEL AMARTEY! #StoLei pic.twitter.com/TsfNbQKl08

Gary Lineker’s going to enjoy Leicester’s Premier League title as much as possible this year.
10 man Leicester come from 2 down to earn a point against 12 man Stoke. The stuff of Champions.

It was a huge effort, and in a campaign that is quickly turning into a relegation struggle, a point that could make all the difference come the end of the season.
One of the grittiest performances anywhere in the premier league this season. Stoke 2-2 Leicester.

Going to an away game as a fan, seeing your team with 10 men come from 2-0 down to draw. That's what it's all about. Priceless #lcfc 😍⚽️

That’s good timing from Daniel Amartey.
YES, awesome day to get my first @lcfc goal. Wasn't an easy fight, but managed to save a point.

And while Ranieri will enjoy his Christmas dinner a little more after a fine festive comeback from his side…
CLAUDIO: "We can enjoy our Christmas a little more now after today. I want to wish a Merry Christmas to all our fans." 🎄🎄🎄

…it’s hard to forget just how well they were doing at this point last season.
Leicester have now dropped more points this season (34) than in the whole of last (33). Great comeback today, though.

It’s as if Chelsea and Leicester have swapped places this year.
