The field clearing the big bank at Lingstown races today.

There was no shortage of runners at today’s point-to-point at Lingstown, Tomhaggard, with a seven race card and the two divisions of the four year old maiden race went Denis Murphy and Jamie Codd with Minellafordollars and Warthog.

Robbie James also recorded a double for the Doyle family of Ballindaggin, Gracemount in the five year old mares and Sprintingforgold in the older maidens race.

Winners were as follows; Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham and Ascot Sales Maiden Race for Four Year Olds of €800; (Division 1), 1st, Bernadine Rochford’s Minellafordollars, (Denis Murphy), Jamie Codd. 8 lengths. 15 ran. (Division 2), 1st, Alan Harte’s Warthog, (Denis Murphy), Jamie Codd. 10 lengths, 14 ran.

Wright Group Brokers Ltd Five Year Old Mares Maiden Race of €800; 1st, JJ Kavanagh’s Gracemount, (Sean Thomas Doyle), Robbie James. 8 lengths. 12 ran.

Kilkenny River Court Hotel Five Year Old Geldings Maiden Race of €800; 1st, Seven Barrows Ltd’s Whatswrongwithyou, (Paurick O’Connor), Derek O’Connor. 10 lengths. 16 ran.

Keating Horse Transport Open Lightweight Race Nomination Banks Course of €800; 1st, Elizabeth Slevin’s Treo Eile, (Shay Slevin), Brian Lenihan. 4 lengths. 10 ran.
