RTE has announced the three judges who will be at the helm of the channel’s Dancing With The Stars.
The shows airs on January 8.
Choreographer, producer, director and talent agent Julian Benson; ballroom dancer and coach Brian Redmond and award-winning ballroon dancer Loraine Barry (who has more than 50 national and international titles) are the three chosen judges.
The 11 celebrities who will be waltzing their way around the dancefloor are: Des Bishop, Des Cahill, Dayl Cronin, Katherine Lynch, Dr. Eva Orsmond, Teresa Mannion, Thalia Heffernan, Hughie Maughan, Denise McCormack and Aoibhin Garrihy.
The series, presented by Amanda Byram and Nicky Byrne, begins on RTÉ One for 12 weeks from 6.30pm on Sunday, January 8.
Each pairing will have a different dancing genre to master every week from the cha-cha to mambo to tango and they’ll have just seven days to perfect their routine before performing live to the nation.
