Sir Alan Sugar has a new business partner – luxury cake company owner Alana Spencer, who was chosen over novelty gift company owner Courtney Wood.
Both finalists were actually pretty popular with viewers right up to the last chat in the boardroom when all of a sudden Courtney started to lose some fans.
In his final pleas for why he should be given the £250,000, he told Sir Alan about Alana: “She’s a very creative baker however she’s not a businesswoman”.
And it did not go down well.
i liked Courtney until the "Alana is not a businesswoman" comment #TheApprentice

I liked Courtney until that "Alana's just a baker not a businesswoman" comment #TheApprentice 🙄

So Alana isn't a businesswoman because she's 'just a baker'? No need for that Court #TheApprentice

Bit low to say Alana isn't a businesswoman, Courtney. #theapprentice

But she had a dignified response and pointed out that her company makes way more profit than his (which he admitted) so she handled it like a pro.
Think Alana won it when she held her own as Courtney went in on her and her business!! #theapprentice

Courtney tried to talk down Alana but she cut him to shreds #TheApprentice

People were chuffed that she came out on top in the end.
So happy Alana won. Courtney=snake in the grass/slimeball and proved it in the final boardroom. #TheApprentice #MessyTask
