Amy Schumer has just given the best Christmas present anybody could give anybody.

There might be a couple of days to go before Santa arrives, but she couldn’t wait to tell her dad that she had bought him back the farm that her family lost when he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

She took to Instagram to share dad Gordon’s emotional reaction – as well as a cute little home vid of herself playing in the fields as a child.

According to an article in today.com, Amy was just nine when her father was diagnosed. The family went bankrupt and was forced to leave the farm.

But now, the comedian and movie star, 35, has been able to buy the property back – and she let him know via FaceTime.

So it has been a busy month for Amy, who also shared the first official trailer of her latest movie, Snatched, in which she stars with Hollywood veteran Goldie Hawn.

It will be coming to UK cinemas next May and, packed with Amy’s speciality of hilarious super-cringe moments, we cannot wait to see it.
