Drugs with an estimated street value of €300,000 have been seized in counties Meath and Louth.
Gardaí seized around 13 kilos of cannabis herb when they intercepted and searched a number of vehicles near Ashbourne this afternoon.
A follow-up search was later carried out at an address in Drogheda where a further 1.5 kilos of cannabis herb was recovered, along with a quantity of cocaine.
Three men, aged in their 20s, 30s and 50s and a woman in her 50s have been arrested as part of the operation, which was led by the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau targeting serious criminal activity.
They three men are currently detained under drug trafficking legislation at Finglas and Drogheda Garda Stations and can be held for up to seven days.
