A motorcyclist in his mid 20’s has died in a road accident in Dublin.

It happened just before 4am this morning on the Crumlin road at the junction with Herberton road.

No other vehicle was involved – the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road has been closed for a forensic examination and local diversions are in place.
