CELEBRATIONS ABOUNDED at Centra Bridgetown recently as Celine Cassidy was honoured as Centra’s Department Manager of the Year at the Pride of Centra Awards..

Some 17 Centra employees were honoured for their passion and commitment in the workplace and chief among them was Ms. Cassidy, awarded as the overall winner in the Department Manager category.

The successful employees were selected as finalists from some 11,000 staff employed in Centra stores across the country, highlighting the significance of their achievement.

Ms. Cassidy was recognised for the leadership she shows, setting very high standards not only for herself but also for her team.

With a background in accountancy, Ms. Cassidy brings these skills to the way she runs her departments in Bridgetown and consistently seeks to drive improvements.

Commenting on the awards, HR Director of Centra, Luke Hanlon, said: “We are extremely proud of the 11,000 staff members who represent the Centra brand and these awards are important in recognising outstanding staff members’ commitment to their customers and their local community.

“Their dedication is very important to us as we understand the strength they bring to the Centra brand.
